It’s November, which means it’s time to start thinking about the people on your holiday gift list! To help you out, I decided to create a gift guide full of products I love and recommend. If there’s anyone on your list who is a foodie or simply wants to be healthier in 2021, keep scrolling! As always, nothing in this post is sponsored.

2020 Gift Guide
I received this Hamama grow kit for my birthday, and I love it! Just soak each quilt in water, then in 7-10 days you have nutrient-rich sprouts that you can cut and add to smoothies, salads, etc. Abby enjoyed watching the daily progress too! When you run out, simply order more seed quilts.
I buy a lot of cookbooks, but The Vegan 8 is the one I keep on my kitchen counter. All of the recipes are simple, vegan, and oil free, which makes them perfect for those of us who are trying to cook healthy meals on those busy weeknights. My family also loves the double-chocolate fluffy pancakes and orange vanilla waffles! (Note: The link takes you to Amazon, but if you can support a local bookstore, I hope you do that instead!)
There are lots of smoothie bottles out there, but this is the one I own and love. It’s made of glass, silicone, and cork, so it’s BPA-free and machine washable. It’s also the perfect size for my Daily Harvest smoothies, so that’s a plus! If you know someone who loves smoothies, I highly recommend this ello bottle.
I’ve told several people about Universal Yums, because I think it’s so fun! My husband saw an ad for it online and ordered the small snack box option for our family. Each month we receive a box of snacks from a different country. I will say that they are not exactly healthy snacks, but we all taste each of the items as a fun treat. So far we’ve tried snacks from Great Britain, Costa Rica, Egypt, Thailand, and Russia. I get very excited when I see the Yum box in the mail!
If you know someone who is a food photographer or who loves to post pictures of their food on Instagram, I highly recommend giving them nice pottery. I love to receive nice plates, bowls, and mugs. Most of my pottery is from East Fork Pottery in Asheville, but there are also some great options on Etsy!
I just purchased the latest cookbook from Angela Liddon, and I’m so excited about it! I love her other two books, so I can’t wait to try all of the recipes I’ve flagged in this new one. The photography is beautiful, and I appreciate that she is honest about how hard it can be to cook when you have young kids. This book would make a beautiful gift for someone who collects cookbooks like I do!
A nice apron is always a great gift for someone who cooks all the time. I especially love these cross-back linen aprons because I get tired of tying apron strings. I also really like the color of this one! Pocket flowers not included.
Honestly, I want everything off of the Food52 website, but this canvas tote has been calling my name. I don’t own it, but it’s on my list this year. It would be perfect for taking to a farmers’ market, the grocery store, or even on a picnic!
Ask any chef which kitchen tool is the most important, and they will tell you they can’t live without a good chef’s knife. My dad gave me this Victorinox knife a long time ago, and it’s my most used knife. The grip feels great in my hand, and I just stick it in the top rack of the dishwasher after I use it.
How cute is this bike pizza cutter? I’ve been getting targeted ads for it, so I’ll probably buy it for someone on my list (like myself). It comes in lots of different colors. There’s even a motorcycle design if you know someone who loves motorcycles. Everyone uses a pizza cutter, right?
Those targeted ads really get me! I’ve been seeing this shirt for a while now, and I know I’m eventually going to cave and buy it for myself if nobody else does. This shirt (or another one on this site) would make a fun gift for a vegan friend!
Bonus Gift Ideas
I received these Toms slippers for my birthday, and I love them! I’m actually wearing them as I type this. They’re so light and comfortable. I wear them while I do housework and chase the kids around the house. They also have a durable sole, so I even wear them to take out the trash.
Last Christmas we purchased an Aura digital frame for my parents, who live in Tennessee. As I take photos of the kids, I also make sure to add the good ones to their frame via the Aura app. It’s so simple, and they tell me all the time that they really enjoy it and they notice when I add more photos. We bought one for my mother-in-law for Mother’s Day, and the whole family adds pictures to it. I highly recommend this Aura frame!
Last January I joined Book of the Month to challenge myself to read books from different genres, and I’m a big fan! Every month I’m given 5 books to choose from with the option of skipping if none of the books appeal to me. I’m always super excited when I see that blue BOTM box in the mail! The selections have been great, the prices are better than Amazon’s ($14.99 for a hardback new release!), and after you’ve purchased 12 months worth, you become a “BOTM BFF” and get a free tote bag and a free book for your birthday. Check out their gift options for someone on your list who loves to read!
I hope you found this list helpful! Please let me know if you’ve tried any of these. I’d love to read your reviews and recommendations!
Happy shopping!
